An amazing George II Scottish silver bullet teapot made in Edinburgh. It was made in 1746 by arguably Scotlands greatest silversmith James Ker. The teapot is in excellent condition with no damage or repairs. There are a full set of hallmarks on the bottom along with the mark of Hugh Gordon the assay master. Considering it was made the year of the Battle of Culloden it has survived really well. It has a family crest engraved with the motto "Deo Juvente".
