Silver by James Mitchell I is very scarce, the mug is in excellent condition with no damage or repairs. There are a full set of crsip hallmarks underneath with the Edinburgh town mark, date letter, Mitchell's unusual mark and the Assay master Hugh Gordon's mark. A really good piece of 275 year old Scottish silver and a must for any collector.
