A stunning George III silver gilt snuff box with engine turned panels. Made in 1812 in Birmingham by Mathew Linwood , one of the best snuff box makers. The box is in excellent condition with no repairs. The gilding is good with very little rubbing. The interior has a full set of hallmarks and original gilding and a later inscription. A truely beautiful box and a great addition to any collection.
