Robert Roland Stanford Tuck, DSO, DFC & 2 bars flew throughout the Battle of France and the Battle of Britain. He was hit by anti aircraft fire over France in 1942, forced landed and taken prisoner. At that point he had shot down 29 enemy aircraft, had 2 shared , 6 probables, 6 damaged and 1 shared damaged.
