Isabel Haines' passion for traditional brands grew from childhood in France. Her appreciation for well made design classics with strong ties to their heritage was fostered through a 25 year career in Architectural Design & Interiors and as a buyer for leading antique dealer Thomas Kerr.

DURANCE traditionally made soaps, handcrafted candles & home fragrances, men's & women's scent. Mostly grown within a few miles of the family's factory in Grignan they proudly showcase their passion for their heritage in ecologically and beautifully manufactured products. Very few can boast such attention to detail from all the scent being macerated and produced in house to the 10 different wicks to get the perfect candle burn according to the fragrance - Made in Provence. 

Ubiquitous brand OPINEL manufacture top quality steel kitchen and folding craft knives and garden tools. Affordable and practical, they are still making design classics in the French alps for over 125 years. Made in France.

Fine BERARD olive and beech wood boards, kitchenware and salt cellars. Still renowned for their super thin olivewood boards and swivel top salt cellars - often mimicked but nothing beats the original! Established in France 1892 - Made in Europe.

Ecological CORK place mats and trivets. Traditional or Modern - goes with everything, good looking, massively practical and heat proof. Made from offcuts of the cork making industry from renewable cork oak bark, the production of which provides invaluable nature reserves for wildlife such as the wild lynx and eagles - Made in Spain. 

KAWECO pens and pencils made in Germany since 1883. Excellent quality fountain pens, pens and pencils. The Sport range are compact and extend using the lid. The nibs write beautifully - superb design and value for money.

Natural Mediterranean sea SPONGES.  Trimmed and made by hand by the same family in Germany since 1897.
