Elegant antique French armoire/linen press/cupboard dating from the early 1900s.
It is made from walnut, is in superb condition inside and out and is incredibly sturdy.
It has lots of hand carved detail to its ornate crest, feet and drawer.
It has a beautiful, wide and heavy curved door with its bevelled glass mirror with no foxing or scratches.
It has 4 internal shelves (one not in pictures) which can be easily adjusted and also an internal drawer.
It also has a bottom external drawer.
It shuts with an old key but does not lock.
It has just been professionally painted in an off white chalk paint, very lightly distressed and then waxed to seal.
It would work as well in a dining or kitchen setting used for plates or glasses as in a bedroom or landing to store clothes or linen.
