A superb and very large 17th century and later oak & elm refectory table. The base is solid oak with large chunky gunbarrel turned legs, the cross stretcher has lovely wear across its length. The side rails have had work on them over the years with the front rail have great carved detail to its entirety. The top timber is not original to the table but is in keeping and of the period, it is a large two plank top. It measures 281cm wide by 131cm deep and 76cm high with the height to skirt being 60cm.
