The shaped top veneered in the finest burr walnut with kingwood banding, purple heart and marquetry inlaid sea scrolls and having a Goncalo Alves molded edge. Supported on four turned and carved outer columns with ormolu moulding and a central turned and carved bulbous column sitting on a quatra form platform with burr walnut and kingwood banding and fine quality ormolu appliqués with four swept supports again with kingwood banding, burr walnut inlay, ormolu beading and finely carved acanthus scrolling feet with concealed brass castors. Stamped Gillows to the base.
