A Superb Late Victorian Mahogany Inlaid Serpentine Commode By Edwards & Roberts

An exquisite example of exotic timber florally inlaid and Kingswood crossbanded serpentine top with boxwood edging. Above serpentine marquetry inlaid with fine work-work to the two lockable doors, revealing a shelved interior flanked and framed by equally as magnificent marquetry inlaid sides and posts, all above stripe inlay tapering square legs and spade feet.
