This very unusual 19th century Venetian mirror, circa 1840, made in the Bavarian style, has a dark blue glass frame which continues around the upper, decorative section of the mirror, the "fronton", which has a detailed, stylistic, central etched panel of a bird drinking from a fountain. The base is decorated with square, silvered, joining pieces which have a central star flower design and has little supporting feet in the blue glass. The central mirror is mercury glass and has age and although there is a little age throughout the mirror, there is no damage.
