Magnificent very large antique French decorative cushioned mirror

Magnificent, very large, antique French gilt cushioned, margin mirror, circa 1840. The outer frame has an intricate raised pattern of curling acanthus leaves and the inner frame is decorated with a row of beading. The frames are connected at each corner with a foliate and floral diagonal decoration and a wide floral and foliate cartouche runs along the top edge of the mirror and floral swags are laid across the glass. Each section of the mirror has bevelled mercury glass and although there is a little age and wear in the frame sections, the central glass is in very good condition, sparkles along the base and gives an excellent reflection.
