Cushioned Mirror with Cameo

Tall 19th century gilt margin, cushioned mirror with overlapping leaf outer frame decoration and beaded inner frame decoration topped with foliate and floral cartouche with central cameo. The inner and outer frames are linked at the four corners with a husk decorated scroll topped with an acanthus leaf on the outside edge. All the sections of glass are bevelled and in very good, original condition. French, circa 1880. A lovely, elegant mirror.
