1840s French arched overmantel with etched gilt frame

Lovely, classic, French Louis Philippe period (1830-48) archtop overmantel mirror with wide, gently outcurving etched gilt frame around the top three sides and equally wide, but flat, etched gilt frame along the bottom edge. The etched design is of linked sprays of flowers and leaves with a ribbon twist outer edge to the frame and an intricate acanthus leaf sight edge (edge closest to the glass). The original, mercury glass is in good condition with just a little age but a lot of sparkles!
