Etched gilt antique mirror with raised floral corners

Antique French mirror, circa 1840, with outcurving gilt frame decorated with an etched design of flowers and leaves and with raised floral and foliate corners.  Along the sight edge (edge closest to the glass) this mirror has a delicate decoration of curves and curls of acanthus leaves. The original, mercury glass has a medium amount of age but still gives a fair reflection and this mirror can be hung portrait (as photographed) or landscape.
