A good rare brass example. Plain circlet, the voided centre bearing a scorpion over the letters "LRDG". Two loops to reverse.
Formed by Major Ralph Bagnold in June/July 1940 . Operated behind enemy lines often with the SAS (Special Air Service). Its last operation finished on 12th May 1945.
