Obverse: Armoured King on horseback facing left, sword behind shoulder breaking linear circle, no rose on housing, no ground line, with Latin legend surrounding: CAROLVS DG MAG BR FR ET HI REX. 
Reverse: long cross fourchée over garnished square topped shield, with legend surrounding: CHRISTO AVSPICE REGNO, S.2764, N.2201, Brooker 280.
11.4 grams, 31 mm in diameter.

Considered a much rarer type in the series. A superb detailed portrait of the King, lightly clipped around the legend, nonetheless a choice, bold good very fine example, with a pleasing old cabinet tone.
