Obverse: Second draped bust facing left, with Latin legend and toothed border surrounding: ANNA.DEI. GRATIA.
Reverse: Post-Union crowned cruciform shields, sceptres in angles, garter star at centre, date (1709) either side of the top crown, with Latin legend and toothed border surrounding: MAG. BRI. FR. ET. HIB REG. S.3572
8.3 grams, 25 mm in diameter.
A bold very fine for the issue, with an attractive golden yellow tone, a pleasing example of a Queen Anne portrait.
