Fourth laureate and draped bust right, with latin legend and toothed border surrounding, CAROLVS. II. DEI. GRATIA
Reverse: Crowned cruciform emblematic shields, interlinked Cs in angles, garter star at centre, date either side of the top of crown, six strings to Irish harp, with latin legend and toothed border surrounding: MAG. BR.FRA. ET.HIB REX.
edge inscribed in raised letters, DECVS. ET. TVTAMEN. ANNO. REGNI. TRICESIMO. QVARTO +..
Minor metal flaw to edge otherwise well toned with an outstanding portrait, practically extremely fine & rare.
