Henry VII Gold Angel, 1485-1509, of six shillings and eight pence
Type V, Mint mark Phoen pointing downwards on both sides (1505-9)
Obverse: St Michael slaying the dragon, beaded circle (both sides), abbreviated Latin legend surrounding with saltire stops on both sides: hEnRIC'x DI'x GRA'x REXx ANG xZx FR' xx
Reverse: Wooden ship sailing right, quartered shield upon hull, with cross above, h to left, rose to right, with Latin legend surrounding: PERxx CRVCE'x TVA'x SALVAx nOSx XPE'x R'Dx,

A well struck coin on a very large round full flan, almost extremely fine with a good amount of residule lusture still present, a very pleasing and scarce example.
