Obverse: Crowned Spanish arms, M/F to left , value (8) to right, legend surrounding: PHILIP . V . D . G. HISPAN . ET IND . REX
Reverse: Crowned globes flanked by crowned pillars with banner, date below, between roses, mint mark o over M at left and right, with legend surrounding: VTRA QUE VNUM
39 mm in diameter, 22.9 grams.

From the famous Hollandia Shipwreck, The Hollandia was a Dutch East Indiaman which wrecked on Annet, Isles of Scilly on 13th July 1743, causing 276 fatalities. The wreck was discovered by Rex Cowan in 1971.

*Complete with an original Hollandia wreck certificate with signatures from Rex Cowan and Jack Gayton from the Royal Navy.
