Charles I Silver Halfcrown, Tower mint, struck under Parliament 1642-9
Group III, type 4, similar to type 2 but of cruder style, mint mark (P)
Obverse: King on horseback facing left
Reverse: Oval and garnished shield

3 mm in diameter, 15.3 grams.
Very well struck for the issue, with a bold portrait and pleasing tone a bold good very fine.
